[II] Non-Personally Identifiable Information (NPII)

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII) is data that cannot be used on its own to directly identify, contact, or locate a specific individual. It may describe trends, behaviors, or technical details, but without additional context or linked records, it does not point to a unique person.

What NPII We Collect
1. Technical & Device Information
  • Browser and version
  • Operating system
  • Screen resolution
  • Device type (e.g., mobile, tablet, desktop)
  • Language settings
2. Website/App Usage Data
  • Pages viewed and time spent on each
  • Click patterns and navigation paths
  • Search queries within the site/app
  • Referring website or ad link
  • Session duration
3. Aggregated or Statistical Data
  • Number of bookings per destination (without names)
  • Popular travel dates by season
  • Most searched destinations by country
4. General Demographic Information
  • Age range (e.g., 25–34)
  • General location (e.g., city or region without full address)
  • Gender (if not linked to a name or unique profile)
5. Cookie & Tracking Data
  • Session identifiers (when not linked to a personal account)
  • Anonymized IP addresses (masked or truncated so they can’t be traced to a person)
  • Non-identifying advertising IDs
How We May Collect NPII

We and our third-party service providers may collect NPII in a variety of ways, including:

  • Through your browser or device: Certain information is collected by most browsers or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and version, and the name and version of the Services (such as the App) you are using. We use this information to ensure that the Services function properly.

  • Through your use of the App: When you download and use the App, we and our service providers may track and collect App usage data, such as the date and time the App on your device accesses our servers, and what information and files have been downloaded to the App based on your device number.

  • Using cookies: Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the computer that you are using. Generally, cookies allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Services, pages visited, language preferences, and other anonymous or pseudonymous traffic data.

  • Using pixel tags and other similar technologies: Pixel tags (also known as web beacons and clear GIFs) may be used in connection with some Services to, among other things, track the actions of users of the Services (including email recipients), measure the success of our marketing campaigns, and compile statistics about usage of the Services and response rates.

  • Using Adobe Flash technology (including Flash Local Shared Objects (“Flash LSOs”) and other similar technologies: We may use Flash LSOs and other technologies to, among other things, collect and store information about your use of the Services. If you do not want Flash LSOs stored on your computer, you can adjust the settings of your Flash player to block Flash LSO storage using the tools contained in the Website Storage Settings Panel. You can also control Flash LSOs by going to the Global Storage Settings Panel and following the instructions (which may include instructions that explain, for example, how to delete existing Flash LSOs (referred to as “information” on the Macromedia site), how to prevent Flash LSOs from being placed on your computer without your being asked, and (for Flash Player 8 and later) how to block Flash LSOs that are not being delivered by the operator of the page you are on at the time). Please note that setting the Flash Player to restrict or limit acceptance of Flash LSOs may reduce or impede the functionality of some Flash applications, including those used in connection with the Services.

  • IP Address: Your IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider. An IP address may be identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever a user accesses the Services, along with the time of the visit and the page(s) that were visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice and is done automatically by many websites, applications and other services. We use IP addresses for purposes such as calculating usage levels, diagnosing server problems, and administering the Services. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.

  • Physical Location: We may collect the physical location of your device by, for example, using satellite, cell phone tower, or Wi-Fi signals. We may use your device’s physical location to provide you with personalized location-based services and content. We may also share your device’s physical location with our marketing partners, to enable them to provide you with geo-targeted advertising. You may be permitted to allow or deny such uses and/or sharing of your device’s location, such as through your device settings. If you do, we and/or our marketing partners may not be able to provide you with the applicable personalized services and content.

  • From you: Information such as your preferred means of communication and special travel requests (for example, in connection with a disability or dietary restriction) is collected when you voluntarily provide it.

  • By aggregating information: Aggregated Personally Identifiable Information does not personally identify you or any other user of the Services (for example, we may aggregate Personally Identifiable Information to calculate the percentage of our users who have a particular telephone area code).

How We May Use and Disclose NPII

We may use and share Non-Personally Identifiable Information (NPII) for any lawful purpose, unless the law says otherwise.

If we ever combine NPII with Personally Identifiable Information (for example, adding your name to your location data), we will treat it as Personally Identifiable Information for as long as the two are linked.

Third Party Services

This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third parties, including any third party supplier or intermediary, any third party operating any site or service to which the Services link or any third party that includes a widget on the Services (for example, the Facebook Like button or share buttons). The inclusion of a link on the Services does not imply endorsement of the linked site or service by us or by our affiliates.

In addition, we are not responsible for the information collection, use, disclosure, or security policies or practices of other organizations, such as Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft, or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider, or device manufacturer, including with respect to any Personally Identifiable Information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Apps.

Rights/Controls You Have on NPII

For Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII), user rights and controls are usually less strict than for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) because Non-PII typically cannot directly identify someone.

However, depending on the jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CPPA in Canada, CCPA in California), users may still have certain choices or controls, such as:

1. Opt-Out of Data Collection
  • You may opt out of certain tracking technologies (like cookies, analytics, and targeted advertising).

  • Many websites provide cookie preference tools, and you can also disable cookies in your browser settings.

2. Limit Targeted Advertising
  • You can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting ad settings on platforms like Google, Facebook, or via industry tools (e.g., YourAdChoices).

3. Withdraw Consent (Where Applicable)
  • If Non-PII was collected with your consent (e.g., through cookie banners under GDPR), you can withdraw that consent anytime.

4. Access & Review
  • While rare, some platforms allow you to request a summary of aggregated or pseudonymized data they hold.

5. Object to Processing
  • In some jurisdictions (like under GDPR), you have the right to object to profiling or analytics based on Non-PII.

6. Use Privacy Tools
  • Tools like VPNs, browser privacy extensions, and tracker blockers can limit the collection of Non-PII.

Third Party Advertising

We may work with third-party advertising companies to show you ads for products or services that may interest you. These companies may use cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites or apps. They may also link this information across the devices you use, such as your phone, tablet, and laptop.

Opting Out of Targeted Advertising

You can opt out of receiving targeted advertising from many third-party advertisers by adjusting your browser settings to block cookies, using “Do Not Track” features, or visiting industry opt-out pages such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (www.aboutads.info/choices) or the Network Advertising Initiative (www.networkadvertising.org/choices).

If you are a California resident, you may also use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personally Identifiable Information” link on our website to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personally Identifiable Information for advertising purposes.

SMS Consent and Data Sharing

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your Personally Identifiable Information. When you provide consent to receive SMS communications from us, please be assured that :

  • **SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.**

  • Your mobile number and SMS consent are used solely to send you information related to your bookings, such as confirmations, updates, and important notifications.

  • We do not sell, rent, or disclose your SMS consent to any external parties for their promotional activities.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your Personally Identifiable Information. However, no system or method of data transmission is completely secure. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, please contact us right away by phone or email.

Retention Period

Your Personally Identifiable Information will be retained by us for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
